Kay Ceniceros Senior Center

The City of Menifee officially assumed ownership of the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center on July 1, 2014. The Center was originally constructed by the County of Riverside in 1990, and was expanded to include the north east building in 2012.

Onsite Facilities:

The Kay Ceniceros Senior Center includes two (2) large multi-purpose rooms, and two (2) smaller classroom sized rooms. Rooms are available for rentals to residents and interested groups. For additional information on rentals please see "Facility Reservations".


Senior Center Activities:


Programs and activities covering a wide range of interests take place at the center on a daily basis.

Senior Nutrition Program:
Family Service Association (FSA) operates the Senior Nutrition Program at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center throughout the year.

​Kay Ceniceros Senior Center Activities:

Quilting Club Mon 1:00pm-3:00pm
Come socialize, show off your unique work, share tips, and join in the fun! For experienced to novice quilters. New participants are always welcome.

Art Club Mon 9:00am-11:00am

Come and learn a variety of art techniques from drawing, painting and soft pastels. Participants will be responsible for bringing own supplies. Class is led by a volunteer instructor.

Yarn and Craft Crew Tues 9:00am-11:00am
Come and learn how to make projects with yarn knitting, looms, crochet, and crafts. Class is led by a volunteer instructor.

Books and Biscuits 3rd Tues 1:30pm-4:00pm
A monthly book club is sponsored by the Sun City Library. The Book Club meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:30 pm. The book of the Month: The Tower, the Zoo and the Tortoise by Julia Stuart.

Trivia Game Club 2nd Wed. 1:00pm-2:30pm
Like to play trivia games like Jeopardy or Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Come and enjoy an
afternoon of fun. No experience necessary to play.

Karaoke 3rd Thurs. 1:00pm-2:30pm
Get those vocal cords warmed up and enjoy an afternoon of singing to your favorite songs! No
experience necessary.
