Overview
The purpose of the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Budget is to serve as a planning tool, which coordinates the financing and scheduling of major projects undertaken by the City. The CIP Budget is prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The CIP is dynamic and must be revised annually to address changing needs, priorities, and financial conditions.

The capital improvements presented are the City's major projects which have long-term life spans and are generally non-recurring. These projects include:

Land and right of way acquisition Design Construction	Rehabilitation of public buildings or facilities Public infrastructure design and construction Redevelopment projects
