Menifee Housing Programs

The City of Menifee does not presently have any First-Time Homebuyer funding programs available. For additional information on First-Time Homebuyer programs administered by the County of Riverside, please visit the Riverside County Economic Development Department Housing page.

The City contracts with the Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc for fair housing services available to residents of the City of Menifee. As part of the services provided, Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc hosts First Time Homebuyer Workshops throughout the year.  For additional information on the workshop(s) please feel free to contact Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc at (951) 682-6581 or (800) 655-1812.

Mortgage Credit Certificate Program
Starting August 2014, the City of Menifee participates as part of the Riverside County Mortgage Credit Certificate Program (MCC) which entitles qualified home buyers to reduce the amount of their federal income tax liability by an amount equal to a portion of the interest paid during the year on a home mortgage.

Home Rehabilitation Programs 
The City of Menifee offers one-time grants (Minor Home Rehabilitation Grant Program) of up to $10,000 to eligible senior citizens, permanently disabled persons, or permanently disabled persons from the immediate family of the applicant residing full time in the residence, for eligible home repairs. No repayment is required. Additionally, income eligibility requirements apply (annual gross income cannot exceed 50% of County of Riverside Median income).
