Code Enforcement

Please note, the City of Menifee City Hall is closed to the public until further notice due to the latest orders by the Riverside County Public Health Official in an effort to stem the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, City Hall will be open for business virtually.

The Code Enforcement Department is committed to maintaining continuity of City services, and will be offering select services online and by phone. Please see below for more details, or visit our Virtual City Services webpage.

All previously scheduled meetings/appointments will be rescheduled, conducted via phone, or video conference. Staff will be in contact to provide necessary meeting details for reschedule meetings/calls.

Code Cases
Code Enforcement staff will focus on cases that pose an imminent health and safety hazard. Complaints may be submitted via the City’s app or by calling (951) 246-6214. Questions regarding violations/ciations may be sent via email to or or by phone at (951) 723-3759.

The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for enforcing various municipal codes throughout the city and helps to protect property owner investment, promote general health and welfare, and enhance the quality of Menifee neighborhoods.

Demand Payoff Requests

If you would like to request a Demand Payoff Request letter for a recorded Notice of Noncompliance or Notice of Pendency, please send your request via email and include the your contact information, property address/assessors parcel number, case number, and any other document that will assist us in researching the case.
