AB 2109 Reporting

On September 24, 2014, the state of California Governor signed AB 2109 (State Parcel Tax Reporting) into law, an act to add Section 12463.2 to the Government Code (chapter 781, statute 2014).  Under this bill, local government agencies (counties, cities and special districts) are to report information relating to imposition of assessed parcel tax to the State Controller’s Office. Annually, the City of Menifee submits the Parcel Tax Reporting Statistical data related to the City’s various CFDs and CSAs to the State Controller’s Office.
