Emergency Preparedness

The City of Menifee is dedicated to helping our community prepare for emergency situations. This is why we collaborate with local and regional emergency service organizations and personnel to conduct simulated emergency response exercises throughout the year. We routinely coordinate with Riverside County/CAL Fire, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Emergency Management Department and our local utility providers to discuss methods and response plans for various emergency scenarios that could potentially present themselves within our region.

We will also be hosting Emergency Preparedness Information Sessions on July 23 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center. The event will provide information and tips on what to do before, during and after an emergency, including how to put together preparedness kits for your home, car, school and workplace. Please download the flyer below for more information, including how to RSVP.

We have also included an infographic below with information on what you will need to create an emergency preparedness kit for yourself and your family members, as well as an emergency preparedness checklist. Please click on the image below and save to your computer or mobile device for easy access to this information.
