Please note, the City of Menifee City Hall is closed to the public until further notice due to the latest orders by the Riverside County Public Health Official in an effort to stem the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, City Hall is open for business virtually.

Submittals Electronic Submittals are required; e-mail to building_submittals@cityofmenifee.us for processing. If hard copies are necessary, these will be accepted by mail.
Plan Check Corrections Corrections are provided electronically via email to the applicant on file. Certificates of Occupancy Projects requiring Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) or Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) must submit a Request for Occupancy Form via email to building_submittals@cityofmenifee.us.
Building Staff invoices submittal fees and provides a pdf document via email to the applicant. Payments for invoices will be accepted via credit cards with the appropriate City of Menifee form, checks via the United States Postal Service, or by setting up a deposit account via wire transfer. For credit card payments or deposits via wire transfer, please contact the City’s cashier at (951) 723-3883 or cashier@cityofmenifee.us . If you are sending payment via check through the mail please include copies of all invoices being paid. Credit card and wire transfer payments will be posted within 24 hours of receipt. Permit Issuance Applicants must notify the Building & Safety Department once all fees are paid. The applicant will then be provided with a License Declaration via email which is required to be completed by the applicant and returned to the Building & Safety Department. Permits and plans may be picked up from City Hall by appointment only. To schedule a pick-up, call (951) 723-3877 or visit our QLess system online. Field Inspections Field Inspections will continue for all exterior and unoccupied dwelling units/construction. Inspection requests can be submitted to bldg-insp@cityofmenifee.us.

Construction Hours
Menifee Municipal Code Section 8.01.010, Hours of Construction states that any construction within the City limits located 1/4 of a mile from an occupied residence is permitted only Monday through Saturday, except on nationally recognized holidays, from 6:30am to 7:00pm.
Construction on Sunday or nationally recognized holidays is not permitted unless prior approval is obtained from the City Building Official or City Engineer.
