let's not be afraid to be known as a city where you can't get away with anything. this is a way to save handicapped and mothers with children from being forced into the street when simply trying to navigate our "pedestrian" sidewalks. i am sure that city officials see these hazards when traversing our city streets........how about enforcement????

The park is beautiful, and the community enjoys bring their young there. However, a portion of the playground padding / Turf is destroyed and needs repairs. It has become a trip hazard for the little ones playing, leaving them often scratched up. Another suggestion to this beautiful park would be a water fountain for the families and children during the heat. Also do to the park being in the neighborhood, at night it draws in teenagers, perhaps a sign for Park Hours will deter the teenager hanging out there after hours and will also give the authorities grounds for getting out of the park at night. These three suggestions would be so greatly appreciated by our neighborhood.

This golf course has been sitting for years, worsening property values and honestly, it is just sad to look at all the potential and no one doing anything about it. Well that stops now. I know that we can turn this abandoned golf course into a serene park with nature trails and a community garden. We could have a contest allowing the neighboring community on the course select an art piece created by local artists put on display. We could also have and a pond for the birds/ducks/local wildlife. We could have an area that appeals to all ages that would include: shuffleboard, croquet, checkers and chess stations. Lets encourage active community involvement for all ages and encourage strong values and build character. This is just one step of the ways we can improve our city mentally, financially and physically and truly help the future of our growing and diverse community.
